Message Received

“I’ve received your message. There’s no need to send me another one. I’ve pieced together everything you wanted to say to me… crystal clear.”  My character, Zeena has a letter from a supposed friend.  When I was a little girl, I initially mistaken the word “Zinnia” for “Zeenia.” Imagine my shock years later when I learned that “Zeena” is a real name.

Finished Product.

Scrapped color scheme. The brown would’ve brought attention to Zeena’s eyes, but a brighter, reddish color was more appealing to the eyes.

Timelapse. I had difficulty with the initial pose, so I hope the final one was a good compromise, and kept the general attitude I wanted to portray!
